Hello Kaya and Judith. I'm adding another time slot in the late afternoon every day now that the lights are installed. As part of that change, I'm eliminating the 30-minute schedule gap before your 1:30 game by asking you to start at 1:00. Thanks for your understanding.

Sounds great, well done! I hope to start up again soon, but unfortunately cannot use poor lighting as an excuse... Now, when will the all important restrooms be completed? Hopefully before they begin deteriorating. Gracias

The court lighting is installed and fully functional. The lights are controlled by a rotary mechanical timer switch located on the northwest roof support column. Rotate the switch to turn on the lights for up to 60 minutes. This switch is temporary and will be replaced by a digital switch with buttons for 30 minutes, 1 hour, 2 hours, and 4 hours. The digital switch has been ordered from the US, with delivery expected in 3 weeks.

The electrical outlet inside the net storage box, intended for use in charging batteries for cordless devices like the leaf blower, is not in service but will be repaired. All of the other electrical outlets are working properly.

The light at the west end of the court is deliberately brighter for the benefit of the students when they play soccer or basketball. With difficulty, the intensity of each light may be increased or decreased. Please try out the new lighting under a variety of conditions and provide feedback before we consider any further changes.

Comments on the overall court lighting are welcome. We anticipate that a sunscreen using the same material as the screen at the west end, with the same vertical length as the west end screen, may be required, without a need for the screen length to be adjustable.

Hello So the batteries are dead. Is it safe to leave them out of the lockbox to recharge?

Hi Roger. Can you send out a system wide email about what to expect re lighting? We see the crews, and the conduit. We see games blocked out for installation but no one in my circles of play know what's going on. It would be helpful. Gracias

The lights are here, awaiting installation as soon as the electrician can fit us into his schedule. He says the job can be finished on Wednesday if the court is available. I'm going to talk with the principal today to see if Wednesday is ok with the school.
